Michael Ortegon

Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator

Curiosity has always been my greatest driving force. It’s no surprise, then, that I’m drawn to work that facilitates deep introspection—exploring ourselves, our relationships, and how we perceive the world around us. I see psychedelics as tools that create a unique, creative space for viewing our challenges from fresh perspectives. These new angles often reveal pathways for assembling the “puzzle pieces” of our experiences into a more cohesive picture—one that fosters personal growth and understanding.

In my own exploration with psychedelics, I’ve focused on developing language to describe the psychedelic experience for those interested in embarking on this journey. Preparing for the unknown can feel daunting, but one of the most effective tools we have is intention. Using analogy as a bridge between what we know and what lies ahead in the psychedelic space helps us approach the unknown with greater confidence and curiosity.

About Michael Ortegon

With a professional background that spans network engineering, construction, client advocacy and further, I’ve cultivated a profound respect for tools—both physical and conceptual—and the ways they can improve our lives when used skillfully. I also understand the importance of approaching all tools, including psychedelics, with care and intention to ensure their safe and effective use.

My goal as a facilitator is to help clients prepare for their journeys with a focus on their intentions, providing clarity about the directions they wish to take in life and their relationships. As a lifelong student of philosophy and intuitive deep thinkers, I continually draw inspiration from life’s simple relationships. Many of history’s greatest minds have done the same, and I find this perspective invaluable in supporting others on their paths of self-discovery.

Facilitating Your Journey

My primary intention as a facilitator is to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free space for my clients. Much like a gardener cultivating soil for growth or a physician optimizing conditions for the body to heal itself, I will simply try to help my clients manage the conditions for personal introspection and transformation to arise on its own.

I am deeply honored to support this process for my clients and to contribute to the broader exploration of inner growth through psychedelic work. Thank you for your interest in self-exploration. I hold immense respect for those willing to invest in their personal growth, as this work has the power to create meaningful change—not only for ourselves but for the world around us.

I’m attaching a photo cropped to roughly the right size and shape for the website. I believe I do have a higher quality one somewhere, but with web design it’s always best to use the lowest quality that looks good for load times.
